As if the Year of the Horse wasn’t special enough, this year is even better! 2015 is the Year of the Goat, which means that this year more than ever we will be trying to take that title and run with it. Don’t be surprised if we happen to incorporate the Year of the Goat into our displays and decorations at shows! Continue reading
All of us here at Summer Young (goats included!) would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas! It’s such a festive time of year, so why not dress a goat up in a reindeer sweater and wear matching Santa hats?

This year we will not be selling any doelings, as we are still building up our herd numbers. We will, however, be selling any bucklings that are born. All goats will be registered with the Canadian Goat Society. Please contact for pricing. Continue reading

To compete at Pro Show, you need to have won Champion, Reserve Champion, first and/or second place in your class at the county level exhibition on 4-H Day. Continue reading

Her first offspring was actually Tip Top Cocoa Cream, or “Clover”, another one of our junior does that we got in 2013. Continue reading
Because two bucks aren’t enough, we bought another! Ran-Cher Acres Alchemy’s Peter is a very funky looking goat, but he’s a 100% purebred registered Toggenburg with lines to brag about, so he now lives with us. Continue reading
